Do viewers need to install anything?

No. Broadcasts and calls open straight in the browser from a link — on desktop and mobile. No plugins, extensions or apps: viewers click and they are in the room.

Can I run a quick call without scheduling a webinar?

Yes. One click in the dashboard spins up a room and a short link like live.papaisoft.com/c/ab12cd — share it and people join. It is a regular browser video call, just inside the same studio where you run your webinars.

Is recording included?

Yes. The broadcast is recorded compositely — the exact frame your viewers saw, with every layout, slide and annotation. The finished recording opens from a public player link.

How do PPTX and PDF presentations work?

Upload a PPTX or PDF and the platform converts it and shows the slides as a first-class source in the frame. You can draw over them with a pen, shapes and a laser pointer in real time.

How many participants can a room hold?

A broadcast holds several active speakers on stage plus viewers beyond that; a quick call keeps a small team in one frame. In the cloud the ceiling is set by your plan; self-hosted, it is set by your own servers.

Where is the data? Is self-hosting available?

By default PAPAI LIVE runs in the cloud: video, recordings and metadata sit on our servers, with access governed by your plan. If your data policy needs an isolated setup, the platform can be deployed self-hosted on your own infrastructure — get in touch.

Do I need OBS or video editing?

No. The frame is built right in the browser: drag tiles, switch layouts, crop sources in one click. No external software and no post-production — it all happens live.

Can I broadcast from several cameras and a screen?
